From Between the Lines for April 2020

Hello Indiana County

Well we have made it to spring.  It was probably one of the strangest winters that I can remember in a long time.  I know several of my chapter members got in some winter miles on their bikes.  By the time you get this the To Poor for Daytona party has come and gone.   We had a great turn out, lots of food and fun.

We have also been getting a wonderful response to out Camp Orenda Letter drive.  The buck a bike for Camp Orenda have been give out to local chapters and establishments.  Remember all the money goes straight to the Camp. 

The Blessing of the Bikes will be April 26th in Armaugh. We are still working out the specific location it either going to be at the fire hall or the Armaugh Church.   We will post on our Facebook page and Web site.

Our  OSAL program will be presenting at the Homer City High School on April 21,2020.  We will continue to reach out to other school and organizations in the county to schedule OSAL presentations.

At the current time here is the calendar of events for Indiana:

April 5th is Highway Clean Up.  We will be at Maudie’s Sixers at 11:00.

April 20th is the Chapter Meeting.  The meeting will start at 7pm at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717.

April will be the Blessing of the Bikes in Armaugh.   Please watch the Facebook and Website for details closer to the time.

May 17th is the BIKEPAC Fun run.  We will be at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717. Kick Stands will be up at 1:00 PM sharp.

May 18th is the Chapter Meeting.  The meeting will start at 7pm at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717.

June 7th is the Camp Orenda Charity Ride. We will meet at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717. Kick Stands will be up at 1:00 PM sharp.

June 15th is the Chapter Meeting.  The meeting will start at 7pm at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717.

June 19th-21st is Hazen.  Get your tickets at the next chapter party or pay more at the gate.  There are no on line tickets this year.

June 25th-28th is Thunder In the Valley, Johnstown PA.

June 28th is the Thunder Fun Run. We will be pulling out at 11 am.  We will meet at the Blairsville Eagles 272 Old William Penn HWY, Blairsville PA 15717
